Came down to the springs around 1PM just to catch some people leaving.
Overall I counted around 20 people at all times.
3 dudes on mini bikes came down to the spring at 3:30ish.
They spent no more than 15 minutes. The bikes did not have any license plates.
It looks like somebody dumped a bunch of cans and bottles on both sides of the MOFO hill
and on the hill side of the trail further on. They are in pretty steep spots.
I doubt anybody can climb to get the “merchandise”. I remember there was a guy few years
ago who tied a rope to trees and around his body and climbed to get the cans. Is he still around?
I spent my day soaking and picking up trash with my trusty trash picker which I broke just before I left.
I pulled a rotting bag of cans and food just below the hottest pool. Everyone who soaked in the Anniversary
and Womb pools pretty much soaked in this garbage.
Overall I collected 3 bags + 1 bag of cans. I took the cans across the creek, hid one bag in my
secret spot half way to take it the next time and “volunteered” some nice folks to take the remaining two.
Somebody put a tent right where the creek crossing is. Nobody at the springs claimed the ownership.
Overall it was a nice sunny day but it got pretty chili at the top.
