As I said before, the fact that a fee is taken at the Bowen Ranch does not mean that it is an effective screen to people who do the negative things to the springs. I except that the access situation around DCHS may be altered in the future to help in preserving its environment. The Bowen Ranch is the main conduit of traffic to the springs and if decisions are made to change ways of access to make it more difficult to reach the springs then the Bowen Ranch should definitly be addressed as a contributer to excessive use at the springs. All avenues of access to the springs should be part of the considerations of how to moderate access for the good of DCHS.
