That is why they (guns) are called equalizers. They should be equalizers under law. One should not be made a criminal JUST for having one. Which is now the case.
WARNING ! It is still legal for police to confiscate any weapon on any citizen at any time whatsoever. So if you see a police officer surrender immedeately.
The Supreme Court ruled that the framers of the constitution meant only the federal government could not make laws against it. But that it was a states right, that the state governments could make laws against gun owners. Which all of the states did. THAT is another problem. When you go from one state to another the laws on guns can change drastically. Everyone should be required to take gun safety classes. Anything else is interference of our guaranteed gun rights.
