I remembered last night that there is actually one of my photos at the " More hot spring pictures " link below that shows Chuck sliding down the chute in the granite on the very day ( spring 1992 ) that I mentioned about in the post above. The link is the one just above Wizard's pictures. When you get to that geocities website, scroll down to where you see " Wizards Deep Creek photos ", then click on page 5 and its the first photo on that page. The photo is an old one but it give you a good idea of how fast the water moves down the chute :-)
