It is illegal to camp anywhere near Deep Creek Hot Springs. To violate this has the potential to cause the authorities to restrict public access, so I don't think we should jeopardize our ability to currently have access to the springs and the Deep Creek watershed area. I have seen campers get fined by the rangers. I'm not sure what the fine is. There is plenty of available camping in the Bowen Ranch area up top and other surrounding areas.
