Paul, You're quite right about Soak.net's unreliability over the past year or so. I spent lots of time sharing info with other soakers and posting pictures there, only to see about half of them lost in cyberspace.
I few of the former Soak.net members started a new site at soakersforum.com, which seems to be working well so far, and it has backup administrators and moderators who promptly address technical problems. You can't post photos directly to their server, like you could on Soak.net....you must link them from another stored location, such as Flickr or Photobucket. At least your pics aren't lost forever when the site goes down.
