I did a hike with a friend up to Deep Creek this last Friday ( 12-14 ) and the significant rain from a couple a weeks ago did bring the stream level up from about 2-4 feet depending on the area of the creek your considering. As of Friday the creek levels where back down a few feet from the flooding levels. No ash or soot came down the creek from those rains thankfully :-) It was pretty chilly on the hike out at sunset, and when we got back to my truck the temperature was 32 degrees. There was still some snow in the shady spots around the Round Mtn area, which is just east of the Bowen Ranch. Still no rain yet with this current storm, as of 9PM here in Apple Valley.
