Well I apreciate all your help and now I have a better understanding of the trails and terrain. I guess the easiest and safest for me is to park at the ranch and pay the five bucks. which I did yesterday and had a blast down there. it didnt take as long as i remember it taking the last time I went about a year ago in the summer, maybe because it wasnt 120 deg. out. All in all it was a 4 hour trip and i spent most of that in the pools. Again thanks for the info, now that I know what I am up against I plan to make it more frequently.
