I was out tracking a bit and found a second set of prints that are much smaller. One was superimposed into a larger one. It's a female with a cub.

Bears do wander through every now and then, usually in the winter. I saw one run by one morning while drinking my coffee back in 1980 and exclaimed "who's dog is that!" before I realized what it was.

They dont stick around here much, not enough to scavange unless the cattle are on the allotment.
