Today our president gave a speech at the Vanieza Casino on the stip here in lovely Las Vegas. His motorcade shut down the construction job I am working on. I Had the fortune or should I say misfortune to be within 100 feet of the leader of the free world (or is it?) today.
The demonstators were out in force what a nice site they were. I saw several with signs that said "STOP GLOBAL WARMING" today. Most protesters were about the war in Iraq however. Usually it is not uncommon to see 2 or 3 dozen strech limos around here, today there were 100's. Distinguished men with $6000 Armai' suites were every where. Many distinguised people paid 1 or $2000 to eat lunch with George. Then listen to him give a speech. Is this interesting? Does anyone want to hear the wierd facts of my weired day. Does anyone care about my secret service interview questions? They are not petinant to any thing here, but they do make you wander about it all. I am just one lucky guy to be here now.
One question they asked me was if I had ten minuets w/George what would I say to him. I told them ''I'd like to invite him to have a beer with me at deep creek hot springs." That seemed to please them enough to give me a pass into their restricted area where George was.
