Venezuela: Turning Off the Taps to U.S.
Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez is taking decisive steps to turn off the oil taps to the U.S.
Venezuela's state owned oil company PDVSA has inked a key deal with India, taking the first key step away from the U.S. as its major oil buyer.
At the same time, PDVSA has announced that it will no longer reveal oil statistics to the SEC after paying off its debts.
The India deal and the refusal to disclose information are not just strategic, but also send a message to the U.S. about Venezuela's future plans with regard to supplying the U.S. with oil...........
China, and India, have been aggressively shopping the world for oil in the last few years, to support thier burgeoning economies. When China's leader made his recent visit to the US last week, when he left, he flew off to Saudi Arabia, and you can bet, its about making more oil deals. So the US will have to contend with a general, envitable supply decrease, of world wide hydrocarbon energy, and also with being outbid by other countries, seeking the same resources, further exacerbating our energy ills. Various oil producing countries around the world, including Venezuala, have become increasingly adverse to this US administration, and its arrogant policies. The US has been till now, the big player in the game of garnering massive resources to meet its ends. But this equation is in the process of changing quickly. This administration has blown apart the US,s credibility around the world, with its lies, deception, bullying tactics, and general disregard for the other people and countries of this planet, who's own national treasures of human energy, and resources, have been plundered to support itself, with a projected aire, that it is thier birthright, to live in abundance, as others suffer the burden, of supporting thier good fortune. The Smirking Chimp made this point abundantly clear, " The American way of life, is non negotiable! )These subjugated people will not forget soon, what they have endured, to enrich another culture, that shows so little care for them. They will look for, and find ways, to even the score. Venezuala's recent actions regarding its oil reserves, illustrate well, a sign of things to come.
