It was built long before 2001. I have a picture of the spot where it sits, under El Nino Flood waters of the 92-93 season when it was not there yet. The flooding of that year stripped away the dirt bank that existed there before those floods. In the spring of 93, the hot waters from the main hot water source which comes from up by the PCT no longer flowed around to the Womb because the dirt bank that guided the water was gone. Mike Digioia built the little dike which can be still see just above the Aniversary pool to get the hot water to flow to the Womb again. I think it was just a couple of years after that when a group of people built the Aniversary pool in about a weeks time, as it is seen today.
