never mind that 40% of their guard is in Iraq... at least they have food now, which is better than im sure some hikers will do this weekend... but they still have no transportation and no real place to go... i really wish they could do something effective about the whole mess. i mean, you can spend 200 billion in iraq over two years but you only got 10 for our own country? its ineptitude like this that leads to 100 billion in total economic loss, where a 5 billion investment in a new levee system could have protected the city against even a low cat 5. ineptitude like this that keeps rock springs closed. idioticity like this that brings 5 blm rangers down on a freakin thursday night, when there is no one at the springs, and they claim they have no money for enforcement. more like, i dont want to ticket anyone.

i plan on avoiding the springs this weekend, but theres still tuesday and beyond... happy springing to those that brave the textiles
