SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY MOUNTAINS...
RIVERSIDE COUNTY MOUNTAINS...
SAN DIEGO COUNTY MOUNTAINS...
APPLE AND LUCERNE VALLEYS...
COACHELLA VALLEY...
SAN DIEGO COUNTY DESERTS...


MOIST UNSTABLE AIR IN EASTERLY FLOW ALOFT WILL PRODUCE THUNDERSTORMS
OVER THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS ON SUNDAY. FLASH FLOODING WILL BE
LIKELY WITH THE STRONGEST STORMS. LOCAL FLASH FLOODING WILL BE
POSSIBLE OVER THE HIGH DESERTS AND THE SAN BERNARDINO
MOUNTAINS...AND OVER THE RIVERSIDE AND SAN DIEGO COUNTY MOUNTAINS
AND DESERTS...AND OVER THE PORTION OF THE INLAND EMPIRE ADJACENT TO
THE RIVERSIDE COUNTY MOUNTAINS ON SUNDAY.

LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS COULD ALSO CAUSE DANGEROUS MUD SLIDES...ROCK
SLIDES AND DEBRIS FLOWS...ESPECIALLY IN AND BELOW BURN AREAS. IN
ADDITION...THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE DANGEROUS LIGHTNING AND
MAY PRODUCE STRONG WINDS IN EXCESS OF 50 MPH AND LARGE HAIL.

A FEW STORMS MAY DRIFT WEST OF THE MOUNTAINS...INTO THE VALLEYS.
ISOLATED NOCTURNAL THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE THROUGH
MONDAY MORNING.

REMEMBER THAT A WATCH MEANS FLASH FLOODING IS POSSIBLE...BUT NOT
IMMINENT WITHIN THE GEOGRAPHICAL AREA COVERED BY THE WATCH. PEOPLE
LIVING IN...OR PLANNING TRAVEL THROUGH THE SOUTHWESTERN CALIFORNIA
MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS SHOULD STAY INFORMED ON THIS POTENTIALLY
DEADLY AND DAMAGING WEATHER THAT COULD DEVELOP ON SUNDAY.
