Randy, hot springs and nude beach etiquette suggests that the photographer always ask permission before he/she snaps a picture of a person. I echo your concern- I certainly don't want anyone taking nude photos of my 6 year old even though she herself has been raised to be comfortable with hot springs nudity. What you mention is indeed a possibility -a friend of mine was shocked to discover nude pictures of his kids on a porn site. Seems as though some pervert was taking pictures at clothing optional Blacks Beach and took pics of his kids and others. You can't stop these pathetically sick pedophiles, but you do need to be aware of your surroundings when you and your family are soaking nude when there are crowds. In another personal instance, my girlfriend (now my wife ) and I were basking in the nude at Blacks when some brazen photographer started taking pics of her from not too far away. I simply went over to him, ripped the camera out of his hands, took out the film, and threw the camera in the water. Now I don't advocate this for everyone (I'm a black belt in karate), but the point is, be aware. And if you have a camera and plan on taking pictures, always be courteous and ask permission of the individual or group.
