SHORT TERM...OVERALL...00Z NAM/GFS ARE COMING INTO AGREEMENT... RESULTING IN LITTLE CHANGE TO CURRENT FORECAST. TODAY WILL BE DRY...ALTHOUGH MID/HIGH CLOUDS WILL BE ON THE INCREASE AHEAD OF UPCOMING STORM. IN REFERENCE TO UPCOMING STORM...STILL LOOKS LIKE A GOOD RAIN EVENT FOR THE AREA. CURRENT FORECAST TIMING LOOKS GOOD WITH RAIN BEGINNING ACROSS THE CENTRAL COAST FRIDAY MORNING...SPREADING SOUTH INTO LAX BASIN FRIDAY EVENING. RAIN/SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH SATURDAY.

VERALL...EXPECT DECENT QPF WITH THIS EVENT...0.50` TO 1.00` OVER COASTAL AREAS...WITH AROUND 2.00" IN THE MOUNTAINS. WITH SNOW LEVELS EXPECTED AROUND 7000`...ONLY HIGHEST PEAKS WILL GET ANY SIGNIFICANT SNOW ACCUMULATION THROUGH SATURDAY.

.LONG TERM...RESIDUAL MOISTURE WILL KEEP A SHOWER THREAT ACROSS THE AREA THROUGH SUNDAY. FOR MONDAY/TUESDAY...YET ANOTHER DECENT STORM IS EXPECTED WITH RAIN BEGINNING ACROSS THE CENTRAL COAST BY MONDAY AFTERNOON. THIS SYSTEM IS PROGGED TO MOVE THROUGH QUICKLY WITH RAIN CHANCES ENDING ON WEDNESDAY.
