Equestrian riders are a part of the FOJF and Juniper Flats is a great place to ride. On any weekend, one can find local riders peacefully enjoying this activity. Its a shame that the BLM put its entire WEMO route designation focus upon OHV's and virtually ignored the equestrian community's need for a designated trail network. Horses and motorcycles dont mix well and when they do, the results can be dangerous to the equestrian rider.
