Lower Deep Creek with be left alone because it already burned and there's no luxury homes. That forest upstream needs a good thinning and dead trees are everywhere. In the long run....the effects of this project may be positive. There is too much dead timber to do a controlled burn so this plan is really the only option besides waiting for the next conflagration.
