These pictures were taken on 11-22-03. Since you ar'nt a guesser I'll tell you. That is the biggest pool at Goldstrike hot springs. I estamate this pool to be 20 x30 feet across. It is about 102 degress and @ 5 feet deep. My favorite swimming hole, has been closed since January that is if you do not have a boat. From the Colorodo river it is a 1/2 mile hike. The elevation here is 1220 feet above sea level,which makes almost as high as the Hoover dam, and it is less than 1 mile away as the crow flyes.
THE Nevada dept. of transportation says the canyon will reopen in January but I do not belive them. It is too congested with work to be throgh by then. So expect delays.
