I just wanted to say that i feel like the miricle hot springs south of lake isabella...is the same situation..i live in the bay area now..but i used to live in bakersfield..i also enjoyed going to the hot springs...ive drank beer their, ive smoked pot and cigarettes there...but never when other people were present..nor did i EVER leave any trash...cig butts or candle wax...i have seen people leave things like that....ive seen beer cans floating in the springs themselves and have to turn around and go home......i feel like somthing should be done to preserve these springs.....the forestry service spends millions on its campgrounds and preserves...why not our hot srpings.....?? im goignt o bakersfield today ..and im going to visit the springs on my vacation, my hope is that for this last year...it has been kept clean and safe from polution...
