So, the SBNF officials who as far as I know have always had contact with the Bowen Ranch, now needs the DCHS Forum to provide them with info as to what is going on there ?
Hey Wizard, I agree, something is a little strange here. Seems like there is not much factual information about what’s going on. So many questions....Is Mike staying at Bowen Ranch House still? Did he sell all of the Ranch property to George R. Carney or just a piece of it? How is Carney planning to commercialize the springs? Where will the “new” access road go? Who will be living in the trailers? What’s the time frame for completion?
It’s important to remember the springs are on public USF’s land, and access will always be free from other trails such as Bradford. Mojave Dam, and Freedom Trail.
