I personally use an older version of this one and love it. It folds down into virtually nothing. Well worth the price. Camping tech has changed so much over the last two decades. I still recall packing a canoe full of canned food, heavy sleeping bag and a less than perfect tent. Glad those days are over.

that's a good stove if you're hardcore, but if you just want to heat water, it's hard to beat a MSR Pocket Rocket. It litterly fits in your pocket and will heat a good amount of water in no time. i'd say most PCT hikers have one of these.
