I'm doing a ride from the LA area through CA, OR, and on up to WA. I did a tour of most all the popular ones in CA (except in the southern desert regions), and am now focusing on OR and WA. Can you please provide suggestions of your favorites in those two states? I have a list of a handful, but want your opinions as to the best.by bansidhe - U.S.A. Hot Springs
The pay area is cool looking, but theres plenty of similar formations elsewhere you can admire if desired. I didn't bother to look for the hot springs along the shore, but theres tons in that region to explore.by bansidhe - California Hot Springs
wait, I'm confused rick...I went there last summer and saw the pools directly under the geological formation, but didn't see the cement pool next to a bench. Where was that?by bansidhe - California Hot Springs
Buckeye is darn near to needing a 4WD. Some folks with large lifted vehicles have ground ruts into that road so deep that you'll never get out without help if you fall into one. Because it was dead dry I rode the ridges between ruts...but in even slightly moist weather it would be a very bad toad to take. I made it there with a 2WD Toyota Matrix last summer, and would likely have turned aroundby bansidhe - California Hot Springs
