Thank you Tom. Do you usually take the steeper down hill path on the right or the longer less steep path to the left right before arriving at PCT? Do you know if one is better than the other or about the same?by oddie225 - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
Google Map is showing part of Hwy 173 just passed the jeep trail closed. Has anyone been to the Bradford trail head recently. Is the road open all the way to the trail head by the bridge?by oddie225 - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
I free hiked Bradford on a weekday last year in Oct. There were only two other cars parked near the trail head and I did not run into anyone on the way there and back.by oddie225 - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California

I went on my first free hike to DCHS yesterday through Bradford Ridge Trail. I went on the right path after the fence to descent to Pacific Crest Trail which was fairly steep. At bottom of the trail, I wasn't sure if I was still on a trail (watch for stacked rocks), but once you go through the narrow creek, the trail connects to PCT. Next time I will trying descent through the left path instead.by oddie225 - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
