Thanks guys for the incredible help. We made it out there Thursday in about two hours from Westwood with no traffic. Got there around noon, easily, with all your help. We visited with the guys at the gate and they were great. The air was cold and clear, leaving the sky a rich blue. The hike, both ways, (even returning in the dark), was no problem. Thanks for the map! If you make the right on Bowen Ranch Rd. from Ocotillo Wy, after Mustang, is the ranch after Belle View Rd? Before Coxey Rd? It looks kind of easy to miss. Thanks for any help. I sure hope so. He's pretty athletic. How tough is the trail? Just got done with Mapquest, now I'm worried about the ride - probably an hour and a half driving, at least. How long do you stay on Ocotillo Way to Bowen Ranch Rd? Then, how long do you go on Bowen Ranch Rd. until you get to the ranch? And is it obvious? Is the trail easy to find? Hello. I've been trying to get to Deep Creek for years and finally the friend I want to take is here. I want to go tomorrow, Thursday the 29th.
