The road to hot creek has closed for the season, though some visitors enjoy snowshoeing the 1.5 mile distance from the gated road closure to the hot springs. Survey at http://lvo.wr.usgs.gov/. Due to increased geologic activity resulting in an increased flow of scalding water, swimming is prohibited.
