dumb question, but . . .

Hi. We (a couple) visited Deep Creek this weekend. Awesome time! But we have a dumb question. We hiked to the springs, and waded across the creek. No problem. We ambled up to the first two pools. But then hesitated. We saw people on a "beach" further on and have read about other pools. But the only way there seemed to be over some difficult to navigate rocks. Is there an easier way to access the rest of the area? OK, go ahead and laugh at us, but we would like to know for next time. Thanks!
