Finally back!!!

Hello all.

Was gone up north for a while here, What a trip! Anything that could go wrong - did. Thursday I lost my water pump in Ridgecrest and limped into camp (170 miles to go), found I didnt have enough tools for the job so it cost a bundle to get it fixed. Saturday I got a ticket for out of date registration- all my fault and deservedly so. Tuesday I chewed up my timing belt out at a hot spring- Hilltop to be exact, that was a costly one with the tow back to Mammoth and lost day of work, motel room and dinner, then the bill. I do have some photos that I will be posting soon of the ones we actually did make it to while there.

Met some very cool people up there, had some really good conversation with them all. Got some really cool rain the first night at Travertine, wow!! Thank goodness we all had enough to drink while there as it was HOT!! Got burned real nice. Ice fishing was outstanding! Thin but very nice. Sorry for the rambeling here. Just wanted to say hello again and that soon I will have more photos if anyone is interested.
