August 10th Trip Report

I arrived around 4pm,parked at Bowen as usual. Dag nabbits' I need to get a 4X4 to drive in.
The hot tubs seemed a few degrees cooler than last month, and the water does not rush in so fast from upstream.
I go once a week and live locally so anyone who wants to come up PM me if you need help with directions or anything.
Any group who needs a day guide or trip advisor PM me.
I always find that Main Street from the 15 is quicker than Bear Valley.
Always pack out what you pack in, that means don't drop water bottles on the paths or throw them down the sides of the hills.
Also don't let trash float downstream.
I always pack out a small bag of other peoples Doritos, water bottles, and Natural Light beer cans.
As far as I'm concerned it's like picking up a dollar bill off the ground.
The place is beautiful, let's keep it that way.
