Trail to Warm Springs - Still there?

When we hiked PCH past Warm Springs I noticed a second trail paralleling us on the other side of the creek. It appeared to go to Warm Springs. I also have an old version of Garmins eMap software and it also show a second trail going to Warm Springs and eventually wrapping back up to the Ranch trail. Is this route still passable? Any other caveats?
