Thanks Wizard for a very accurate account of where the matter stands right now. Anyone down there should just document and report his presence and eventually the USFS will go and address this problem.
To make matters worse I have seen him take trash from visitors that were already in the process of carrying it out, and offer to take it out for them. Unfortunatelly, another DCV member has reported that he appears to be dumping it locally in a canyon.
Please assit by observing and documenting but remember that it is not our job to confront him. Let's wait till the Forest Service has time to address the problem.
