My wife was telling me this evening about a conversation she had with a person who works with her, who lives in the Running Springs area, not far from Lake Arrowhead. She told my wife that there was a meeting last night were the authorities were advising the mountain residents that it would be a good idea to transport anything at thier residences, that they considered " important ", to safer locals, like away from the highly flammable mountains. The authorities basic message was that the mountains in those areas was ready to go up in flames, anytime, and if a fire got a good start, they couldn't stop it.
