Jobe, The picture I believe you are referring to with Lupins, and many other Flowers, was taken while my family was on a Jeep Tour to the top of a 12,000 foot Mt, named White Mountain, which was to the north of the town we stayed in, Avon. Our guide was a true Survivalist, and at every instance during the time we spent with him, he shared his knowledge of the uses of the many plants and trees in the area. He was quite fascinating I must say! As we made our way up through the canyons, to the top of this mountain, we, ran into a thunderstorm which was very refreshing because of all the lush smells it produced from the plants and trees. Along the way we ran across a high country sheep herder and his white dog, there were hundreds of sheep. When we reached the top of White Mountain, the view was magnificent! There were rain showers to be see, off in the distance, from various thunderstorms, and a few of the pictures that I posted recently, were take form our Eagles Crest Outlook there on top of White Mountain :-)
