Thanks for showing the photo's and especially the one with sand in the lower pool.
I remember years ago when Deep Creek flooded and having to swim across the icy cold creek water to other side where the warm pools are. The lower pool had sand in it and was very shallow, but was really nice to lay back in it. Maybe it was the same year of the photo you are showing.
