mmm, I think what you are refering to is taking the right forks in the road until you are almost at the Bowen Ranch. Then you want to take the gated, dirt road on the right just before you reach the ranch.
From there you make lefts to get parked and hike down to the springs.
The BLM route used to be called route 2 but it is now JF4 and JF3.
