It is psychological torture as I have to get around using a walker but as soon as I can graduate to a cane/hiking pole I'm down there. Cold weather and hot springs is best. In the mean time although cannot walk far it doesn't mean I cannot kayak so planning a trip down the CO river near Vegas. At least hit the pools closest to the river as don't think can climb the ladder just yet to the most popular ones there, or navigate sand bags. I so much appreciate what handicapped folks have to deal with after my recent ordeal. I respect even more those that get out there despite permanent limitations.
