If you are fishing for trout, they are usually found from around Willow Creek on upstream because the water is cool enough for them to live year round up there. Some years when there is significant flooding the trout will wash downstream, then while the creek is still cool they will survive for a while until the summer heat makes the creek to hot for them. During times like that I have seen years ago people catching trout at DCHS. Since it has been quite a warm winter season with hardly any rain, I'd guess you will find no trout below Willow Creek this year. On the other hand, the Chubs, Catfish and Tadpoles do great in the warmer water

My Korean friend caught a bunch of Catfish one time at DCHS and we cooked them up on a barbeque fire up at the Bowen Ranch, pretty tasty, but not a lot of meat on them
