That is a very good link if you like to eat non-kocher Paul. As for me I almost always eat kocher.
When I was a little boy back in Mississippi (the magnolia state) we used to sell road kill to the African - Americans down the street.
We'ed git 2$ fer a raccoon 'n 5$ fer a possum. Wed loved goin over the holler to their hood an takn ther money. We smiled all the way to the candy store.
Back then 5$ you could buy a coke and a candy bar for 25 cent. Stick that under your shirt and still have enough 2 take 2 or 3 friends to a movie.
It wernt easy money tho. Those coons had to be skined. You had to skin them right or they would gep you down on the price. If you ever tryed to skin a possum you would know what I mean. If you ever tasted one you would know why the difference in price.
To us we thought they tasted a lot like chicken. But to them it was better than the government welfare food they had eatten all of their life. We did not consider this since none of us were ever on welfare. I learned a lot about life just sitting on poarch swings with my African friends. A debit I can only repay be showing all of them respect.
UUUmmmhh bringing back memories of hog jowls an chittlins with turnup greens cooked over a hickory fire ;~)
priceless !!!
