Thanks - I think we did well and got lucky by going down mid-week. I've never been anywhere like Deep Creek before - I don't get sappy and emotional about many things but being there really affected me, and the only thing I could think of after the hike back up was, when can I go back? If there had been a party atmosphere it might have lessened my experience, although I would still be dying to go back when we could have the place more to ourselves. I think we are going to plan a return soon but during the week.
