The only people to blame are the spectators that stand to close to the track. I've been to many a race in the desert and the younger crowd (twenty somethings) like to hang out to close to the track. Add drugs and alcohal and it turns into one big party.
If you look at the average ages of those killed you will find there all in there twentys. When are people going to take resonsibility for there actions?
I think older people have a little more sense to stay a safe distance from the track.
