Nevada is loaded with remote hot springs. Many are undeveloped. Some have been tapped as watering sources for cattle. One of the most interesting ones I visited was called Diana's punchbowl. It's located in the center of the Monitor Valley between the Toyabie and Monitor Ranges. Much too hot for soaking at 210 degrees, it sits on a travertine hill and the springs are located in a deep pool in the center. Local Piute legend has it that a jealous woman threw her unfaithful husband in it. Here is an article about the place
