The storm last Friday brought a healthy dose of rain to our area in northeastern Apple Valley. It was about 7 hours of moderate to heavy rain with lots of runoff and pooling along the roadsides. The high desert got a great drink from that storm :-) I went on a hike into Granite Mountains the day after the storm and there was lots of water up there, similiar to back in the 2004-2005 season, and I'm happy to say that there are now Goldfish living in Granite Mountains once again :-)
