The 30 MPH signs were put up when the road was paved. I have no idea why. There's nothing about the road to justify such a low limit and the traffic certainly doesn't ever go that slow. If you ever do get a speeding ticket, go ahead and fight it due to the lack of a required traffic engineering study justifying the limit.
