The land deal in Nevada involved a chunck the size of Manhattan that was sold to a development corperation. It is located in Lincoln County, Nevada. They also recently sold more land in Nevada near the Las Vegas airport for commercial development. I heard about these transactions on a Las Vegas public radio station. NPR news covered it.
