Dave Bybee, Sierra Club fixture and co-author of the "Hot Springs and Hot Pools" series of books will lead a 4 day car trip to most of the hot springs in the Owens Valley Oct 31 - Nov 4. I joined this trip once and had a great time.

21st Annual Tour of the Mother Load of Hot Springs. Join this unique adventure in the Bishop/Bridgeport area, east of John Muir's High Sierra "Range of Light." In 4 days of car caravanning and tranquil saunters, we'll soak in 10 different hot springs to qualify for the coveted Sierra Club Hot Spring Patch. Starting Fri night, we'll stay at the historic Winnedumah Hotel with morning breakfast. Succeeding nights will include lodging and gourmet dinners at some of the most unique, off-the-beaten-path venues the Eastern Sierra has to offer. Group size strictly limited and always fills. Send 2 sase/email, $198 (Wilderness Adventures), D&N phones, rideshare info to (the address of the leader was not listed, although is can be found in the Angeles Chapter Schedule).
