Oh yeah, its really hot today here in Apple Valley! I will be going on a hike to the top of what I call Turtle Mountain later this afternoon. Its roughly a 1,700 foot elevation gain from where I park to the top. I'll be bringing plenty of cold water, light clothing and even an umbrella if the winds are light :-)
