Thanks Jobe :-) You certainly have been an industrious caretaker of special springs like DCHS and Goldstrike over the years. I know you are quite familiar with the terrrain, and the roads around DCHS, so sounds to me like Mr Hoffman was perhaps mistaken about the gate issue :-) I haven't hiked the Bradford Ridge trail in a while. There now is quite a lot of graffiti along that road down closer to the Mojave Forks Dam. There is a scenic overlook point, where there is a structure of concrete blocks and metal railing that is completely covered in massive graffiti. What an eyesore that stuff is! I think I will do the Bradford trail pretty soon to see how its looking these days. You will probably get to it before me Jobe :-)
