I'd bet that the party heads in the LA Weekly article left their trash for others to pick up and pack out. That's bad in itself, but now other readers of LA Weekly will be trekkin past the "the gray-ponytailed and shirtless desert surfer" at Bowen Ranch with bottles of wine, plastic bottles and other dreck to be left, once again, in and around the sacred creek and springs.
