100?! Wow. I'm looking to be there later this week, aiming for before the weekend. Hopefully it's not nearly as crowded during the week. I'm taking someone who's never been to DCHS and has never been to a nude beach/springs... Hoping to ease her into it... I've only done the Bradford trail; I didn't think the steep route was that bad going up, I wouldn't want to go down myself. I usuallyby Eric0321 - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
I found this information based on the trail just mentioned. https://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/stelprd3798111.pdf There seems to be a lot of cool places that can be seen with an offroad vehicle. I may have to call the Big Bear Discovery center to see what they recommend. I'd much rather camp at the end of one of these offroading trails. Thanks, but I'm going to be on the south side of the springs around Lake Arrowhead. I see that there are a few campgrounds around Lake Arrowhead, I may just have to get one of thoseby Eric0321 - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
I was looking to take a trip out this way towards the end of April and introduce my fiance to the springs. I have a rooftop tent on my T4R and was curious to know if there is anywhere near DCHS that I could park, open up the tent and sleep for the night without having to worry about getting into trouble; I'm coming from the southern side of the springs near Lake Arrowhead. Had a great time! There wasn't nearly as much trash laying around as the first time I visited. I got there around 8:30, but unfortunately had to leave around 11:30 to catch a flight back to reality. Looking forward to my next visit.by Eric0321 - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
I went there by myself yesterday morning. I never felt unsafe. Unfortunately I had to leave around 11:30by Eric0321 - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California

Is Friday morning/early afternoon a bad time to go and enjoy? I've heard that the weekend, Fri morning close to weekend, isn't the best time to enjoy it au naturale.by Eric0321 - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
So I made it out late afternoon Wednesday and early morning Thursday. I had a great time and met some pretty cool people. I took the Bradford trail both times; first time the less steep option from the bar wire fence, second the more steep route. Carried out a handful of thin glow sticks that were thrown about the place; another couple was there picking them up too. I hope to visit again with myby Eric0321 - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
I'm looking at either June 17 or 18 depending on how things work out. Thanks for the information! I'm definitely going to check it out! It's a shame I'll miss the event on June 20-21, that sounds like it would have been pretty cool!by Eric0321 - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
I have the opportunity to visit DCHS on a weekday this coming June and was hoping to ask a few questions. I only have one day but I'll take what I can get considering I live quite far from there :-) I've read that this has become not such a great spot for naturists, but that it's only that way mostly on weekends. How crowded does it get on weekdays? Well I'm not terribly concerned about a crowby Eric0321 - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
