Hi Rivernude, Good call on the glass. I wasn't planning to bring any alcohol to the springs, but I figured I might have some up at the ranch if I was camping. I didn't know glass was frowned upon at the ranch, so I'll plan accordingly. Thanks for the heads-up!by tombaird007 - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
34th anniversary! Wow, it seems that not many couples can celebrate that nowadays. Congratulations! I've gotten a few replies to various posts I've made inviting people to join me, so I'm not sure what works best for peoples' schedules yet. I was considering camping there at the ranch that weekend as well. Considering that it's your anniversary, I'll be sure to give y'all plenty of room.by tombaird007 - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
Hi, I just went to Deep Creek Hot Springs last weekend, and it was really nice. It's great to see the trees turning color. Would anyone like to join me next weekend (October 31, November 1, or November 2)? It's a lot more fun with other folks! It would be great to get a good group going and really enjoy the place in good company. Maybe a group nude hike, weather permitting? :-)by tombaird007 - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
Thanks for the input, everyone! Paul P, good advice. I ALWAYS make sure to take my wallet, phone, etc. with me and cover anything else when I have to leave my car at a trailhead (or anywhere, really). I guess my concern is having to deal with the inconvenience of dealing with a vandalized vehicle! It sounds like I should just go to the Bowen Ranch. However, I've not taken the Bradford Riby tombaird007 - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
Hi, I haven't been to Deep Creek in a few years, and from this forum it sounds really shady now, and not in the good way. Car vandalism? Fights? Litter? I wanted to get a quick nude hike and dip in the creek/springs on a weekend morning. Do any of you regulars think I would run into any trouble? I'd rather do a mid-day dip in the creek, but I know crooks are not morning people! Thanby tombaird007 - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
Thanks for the replies! I would love to just be free, but I don't want to create any awkward situations for textiles, and I don't want to cause any trouble that might ruin it for other nudists. I just want to be a SMART nudist! It sounds like the Bradford Ridge trail starts near a road, so we would probably have to have towels wrapped around us until getting away from the parking area.by tombaird007 - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
Hi, everyone! So I've only been to Deep Creek once before, a few years ago. I'd heard it gets crowded on the weekends, so I went on a Friday. I parked at Bowen Ranch, left all my clothes in the car, and hiked down with a few liters of water, a towel, and a first aid kit in my backpack. It was great. Now my girlfriend and I want to do a fun nude hike, but I was wondering if everyone thinkby tombaird007 - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
